  1. My Megane radio has gone sticky so want to change it, I have found a Clio one that looks the same but the part numbers are different

I believe the Megane part number 8200074339 and the clio one is 8200485081

is there really a difference ?

    thanks

  2. Might be something in CANBUS/UCH that stops them from working. I know I tried to use a Kangoo and Scenic radios in my clio and it didn't work :worried:

You could try a non-sport Megane radio, I have one in mine and it has the non-soft touch front. Or alternatively, just change the front, it's only held on by a few security torx bolts iirc

  3. I’ve got the Clio cabasse radio in my Megane. Only fault is the Clio radio is a bit smaller so there is a 2mm gap either side of the radio. I’ve lived with it in exchange for the decent upgrade in sound quality. If you’re still looking into it, let me know and I can take a photo.

  4. 8200074339/8200485081 is not the radio itself (narrow green connector), that's the CD reader and the front panel of the radio.

The actual radio and the ISO connectors (power, audio) are in the boot, so replacing the radio is not that straight forward.
You have the radio that Renault call "RADIO4".

Your *actual* radio is 8200205833. It has no faceplate, and has all the standard connectors on the back that would normally be in the center console, but this is in the boot.
