265 clicking while turning and accel at low speed

  1. Hi everyone!

I'm experiencing a clicking noise and slight vibration in the steering wheel when I let off the clutch while turning left or right. If wheels are straight there's no issue.

If front wheels are going through an incline the issue is magnified.
Do you have any idea what could this be?

I checked for CV Joint play (that is while the car was in a lift post) and there was none.
Swivel joints, anti rotation links and top mounts were recently replaced.
There's no play in track rods

    Car is a Megane 265 Cup PK4018

  2. btw issue started right after I changed tires. All 4 were changed brand new from 235/40 to 245/40, might just be pure coincidence..

allignment was done to spec but issue persisted anyways.

  3. found the issue to be lower left swivel joint. I thought I had replaced it but then I remembered not doing it when I did the one in the right 'cause I couldn't remove the left axle from the hub, it was dry and soldered.

I got my way on a hydrolic press this time, removed the axle, replaced the joint, and put grease in the axle to refit.
No more clicking while turning and accelerating from stationary.
