250 Clicking item under the bonnet...

  1. In the picture below is an electrical item that is perminatly clicking when the ignition is off... Any ideas what it is / does? I've disconnected it so not to cause a battery drain for the time being

  2. Fuel vapor solenoid. Returns (purges) fuel vapor back to the charcoal canister near the fuel tank. Plug it back in. Its needed for the emission system.
     
  3. Cheers, I guessed it was emission related but was unsure what it's called to organise a new 1.

  4. only ticks for few mins after switch off, but as said, system need it
     
  5. Also sorted, was a knackered battery causing weird stuff..
