Cleaning up my exhaust

  1. Hi guys,

does any one recommend a good Metal Polish to clean up my Miltek Exhaust. It was Black when I got the car and I spent a good hour at the weekend trying to polish them up and they do now actually look Stainless Steel as the should do, but still requires a lot more elbow grease!

  2. Autosol is the default product.
A white scouring pad (not green) for anything that doesn't come off, or 0000 wirewool beyond that.

  3. Thanks matie :grinning:

  4. I've done mine recently, I used a wire brush to scrub off the years of soot/grime on mine but wire wool would be less harsh if yours aren't too bad.

Then I got a couple of small polishing mops to stick in the drill, used them with autosol and the finish was great:

  5. Good idea with the drill. Some have been known to use a (new) toilet brush for the inside. Mental.

  6. Cheers guys :yum:
