Decided it's about time I clayed my car after washing it! These look a lot easier than a clay bar, and seem to get reviewed well. Anyone got any experience or opinions on them? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detai...bars/clay-mitt-blue-fine-grade/prod_1390.html
I have an autosmart clay cloth. I was dubious and expected it to mar the paint. It us much faster than clay and easier. I really recommended it. The cloths will be the same
I'm itching to give a clay cloth a go on the Trophy. Claying the car is one aspect of detailing I find a complete ball ache because it's such a lengthy task. At least with a bigger surface area it's a far quicker process. Let us know how you get on with that mate.
that looks a good product to me, will be giving that a whirl. claying has got to be one of the most time consuming parts.
Just read a huge read up on DW about this one .. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/cleaning-products/detailing-products/farecla-g3-body-prep-clay-mitt Does around 15 washes (probably 2 years for me) and just needs a really soapy shampoo and cold water mix to lube - break it in on the windows apparently? Halfords have 3 for 2 as well so I think it's a visit!
Just to follow up, I eventually used this today after sitting on it for ~6 weeks. An absolute delight to use and had the car feeling smooth in 20 minutes.
