Just ran over a metal road sign I didn't seen in the fog and the spanner and check ESP came on immediately. The car drives fine and the warnings went out after restarting the ignition. No loss of air. Anybody any clue what could cause this to happen immediately? I think I went over the sign with both off-side wheels but not the near side. Would this cause it?
Probably caused the wheels to spin at different speeds slightly, similar to what happens on the rollers?
