  1. Good morning guys, got a bit of an issue and need advice please from your valuable experience with this car in term of electronics,
I got to swap the gearbox as mine decided it needed no more its 3rd gear, so battery was out for 2-3 days, since then the car devellops a check airbag and esp at the same time after a lot of clkicking round the steering wheel,

So i change the steering rotary switch and check airbag is gone nowq but esp remains.
Plugged the OBD reader (just a normal one not clip) and it reads the following trouble codes:

    P2299-46 - Brake pedal position/accelerator position incompatible
    P0830-46 - Clutch Pedal switch A - circuit malfunction.

Read over the net i found mix help, its either the clutch and brake switch but i never heard of one failing yet,
Also read that the switches can loose their calibration if the battery is out for too long,

The car drive normally but has no ESP (bit of fun round the round about :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:)
Anyway can any of you who leaves near the Worcester/Tewksebury area who possess Renault clip could help please?
Does anyone have na idea of what it could actually be please?

Last resort is to take it to Renault 50miles away as our dealer in worcester is gone for ever.

  2. Guys, anybody with Clip in my area, willing to travel if not too far.
I'd really appreciate the help as winter approach i'd like to get the car sorted and get that orange light out of my sight

  3. oh well, thank you all for your help and support...not
guess I will go to the stealers and to get a proper diagnostic, would thought this kind of issue is identical between petrol or diesel, anyway no worries.
