225 Cheap 225 intercooler

It would be interesting to know if one of the £148 coolers would stand upto say a stage one map ....

 

i KNOW OF A COUPLE OF LADS who have them on stage 2 maps and they are spot on

 

I dont have a stage car. Cos stage talk is rubbish

Mine handles 313.5bhp just fine ..

 

I was just using it as an example. for a car with not many mods.

 

Has anyone done a comparison of intake temps between this and standard? in particular after lots of pulls or on track? Paul suggested I look at a better IC for my stage 1 mapped R26 if its going to see a lot of track days in the future and I fully expect to rag the thing on track over the coming years.

Yep - GPi cooler off ebay on mine and getting mapped 'stage 2' at Efi next week. Proven decent for up to 300bhp.
