  1. Hi all,

I'm interested in uprating my front discs to the Cazan Racing 330mm ones (http://www.cazanracing.co.uk/cazan-racing-330mm-front-disk-kit-89756-p.asp) but I've got a couple of questions:

    1) What is the difference in performance between the rotor styles you can choose - J Hooks, Grooved and Cross Drilled?

    2) What's the best pad to run with the discs?

    Cheers, Seb

  2. In short the J hook gives improved bite and debris clearance over grooved or cross drilled. Cross drilled disks can also suffer from stress cracks.

check this link out due a bit more info, we use the GA style J hook.

As for pads I'm sure a lot of people will help you decide with their views. I would recommend against CL RC6. They are an incredible pad for stopping but they eat disks and they have ruined my alloys and paint with excessive dust.
