Cartek GT Battery Isolator

  1. Hi All,

Has anyone installed one of these in a Meg 3? Scratching my head a little at how to cut the power to the ECU. Pulling the 5 amp fuse for the ECU does the trick so ai tried replacing that power feed with the output from the Cartek, car cranks once and won't fire. Assume the ECU is smart enough to know it's not getting power from the proper location.

Other option is to intercept the igniotion switch but pretty sure this is just Can signal from the start button.

    Anyone have any experience?

    Cheers,
    Matt

  2. Ok, I was able to sort this.

For anyone tackling this I found that using the main ecu power feed, fuse 13 on a 2015 RS 275, causes wierd behavior.

There's a second fuse for the ecu that seems to control some other bits of the system, fuse 10 has the desired effect with no strange behavior.
