225 card not detected and problems with passenger door

Today we have 2 problems.

1st I sometimes get card not detected, when it does I have to take the card out and push it back in, some times 3 or 4 times before it detects the card and I can start. Now is this a dodgy card or reader?


2nd one that getting worse. When unlocking the car. I can't open the passenger door. It opens fine from the inside. It was every now and then but this week it been every time. Any idea what I should be looking at or replacing?
