  9. That wing does look awesome. Price needed

  10. Wow very nice

  11. This thread is almost 1.5 years old.

Such a spoiler wouldn't be allowed since you get rid of the 3rd brake light.

  12. You don't have to have a centre brake light, if you have one and it's not working it's illegal, if you disconnect it at mot time the Mot tester can't fail it because it's not there! Had this issue before I sold my clio  only the 2 rear lights are the requirement

  13. If it isn't working it's not illegal. You've contradicted yourself buy saying it's illegal not to have it work but if you disconnect it it's ok??
Doesn't matter if it works or not. Regardless if it's there or not.

  14. Who cares when you have a friendly MOT mechanic

    OP It looks great btw

  15. It's no use giving the wrong information is it.

  16. Yeah if it's connected and in place it's illegal if it's disconnected and not there (thought that was obvious apologies) it's fine. Long story short you could have this spoiler and it would be fine.

  17. Yea if it's not there obviously it's ok because you can't test something that isn't there. BUT even if it was there and didn't work it's not illegal. You only need to near side and offside to work.

  18. See I had this talk with the mechanic I always go to as I took my clio down to trade it in for the megane. (3 hour journey and the high level wasnt working) The brake light can be left in place but if it's connected and not working it's a fail. However if it's obviously disconnected or there is any suspicion it's not connected you have to give the benefit of the doubt. He told me to read this to ease my mind http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_120.htm

  19. You only need the near side and offside to work, trust me. The high level or any centre brake light are not obligatory.

So most you should ever get for the centre lamp not working is an advise.

  21. There are so many mot loopholes, just need to know which ones you can get away with
