Just thought I would rant, nothing more annoying than when your pride and joy is scratched by some idiot who could not be bothered to take care when passing it. Car was parked in the car park and the cleaner thought it would be a good idea to cut through the gap next to my car rather than using the path. Then dragged his rubbish bag down the side of it leaving a big manky scratch. Didn't leave any details just walked off. Luckily some friends from work seen it and reported him. Just annoys me when I spend 3-4 hours keeping my car nice every week and some thoughtless a*** doesn't even have the decency to leave a note. Rant over any suggestions of anywhere cheap to have repaired in north east?? Thanks.
most of that will come out with a compound.. Im not sure about the white bit towards the right end though.
Dan, I know there are some good and bad reviews about Chips away, but I had a similar sized scuff on the front bumper a couple of months ago and the repair was done by a guy called Paul Holmes who works for Chips Away in the Teesside area. His work is top notch and there is absolutely no sign of it being repaired. Took him about 2 hours and cost just over £70. I can pm you his number if you want mate.
Give it good polish with paste and it should go away. I had worse on my Laguna when I left it on airport's car park. I managed to sort it out on myself.
If you can't fix it , check to see if there are any security cameras . Go have a look ,see if it shows the person in the act . If it dose get said person to pay for the damage. Then the person might just think next time .
Cheers guy, got my mate from mirror finishes to have a look reckons he can sort it out with a machine polish. I will be sending the bill straight to his company. Accidents happen but he knows who I am and could have came and told me.
