Guys, My predicament..... I live in an apartment block meaning I don't have access to a drive or power-washer on the street so this is what I have to do: 1. Fill a bucket (with lid and grit guard) of suds with sheep's wool mit (two bucket method if I'm in the mood) 2. Down to the local Jet Wash and spray on CarPlans Rapid Dirt Shifter leave for 10 mins 3. Spray wheels with acid free Wonder Wheels 'Hot Wheels' - Leave for 10 minutes 4. Power wash off the muck with the clean water Jet Wash 5. Power wash again with the soapy Jet Wash 6. Start hand washing with my sheepskin mit 7. Power wash off with clean water 8. Dry and a coat of Meguires Quick Detail Spray and dry again. As you can imagine, doing all this at a my local Jet Wash does raise a few eyebrows but there are two machines and I usually do it late at night to save taking up the one machine for at least an hour. BUT my question is.....Can I use a Snow Foam or Citrus Cleaner type stuff in a B&Q 'Easy watering' pressurised pump spray or does it all have to be via a lance? I think the Garage owner would draw the line at me dismantling his Jet Wash.... I just want to make my visits to the Jet Wash as painless as possible.... Thanks for any help offered guys, really appreciate it, Tony
As above... I got caught up in the snow foam hype...getting better/quicker results from a citrus pre wash in a pump spray.
Valet pro is a good product and very economic.... auto finnese is also a winner. Save the foam to get rid of dust and light duties in the summer.
I like this idea, two questions one where is the cheapest place to get citrus pre wash and may be the dumb question do you use the pre wash before rising with the hose/jet wash or after?
I'm still looking too....a hefty £15 postage charge for me over here in Northern Ireland....ooof!! The 5ltr bottle is about £18
