Next year I will be going for more power. Ideally I'd like around 360bhp, however I don't really want to spend mega money (gtx, forge etc). At the moment I have in mind; Decat Intercooler (pro alloy w/water cooler) Hybrid turbo Induction kit (already have) Injectors Should I be seeing around 360+ with these mods? Any other recommendations would be highly appreciated.
Hybrid/Injectors should get you there no bother but i have seen some engines struggle to make that power with those mods. Can i ask why you have that figure in mind though? Mine with 330 is more than quick enough and the only reason I'm going to go hybrid eventually is to keep me interested in it so i don't get rid of it LOL
I plan to do track work so would an intercooler be a good idea? Any one or the one I mentioned? I have 360 or at least 350 in mind for exactly the same reason as you. A lot of my friends are running 350+ (FRS, 135i, M3's etc) and I'm sick and tired of them embarrassing me ha! However, it's mostly for my own satisfaction of course, I couldn't really see myself getting bored with 350+bhp. You getting RS tuning to do yours?
If its mapped a cooler is a must IMO, Especially once you get to "Stage 2", Mine at the power it is now is noticeably quicker than M's etc but it feels slow to me now haha. Nah won't be getting them to do it, Hybrid will probably be very similar spec to what they use though if not the same and ill get it mapped up here. Have a couple other bits I'm planning on doing as well
That's good yours is quicker than the M's, don't suppose you've had a play with any 92's? Guessing it will stay with one till it reaches silly speed? Mind me asking what you have planned for yours? I was going to go down the 'Clubsport' route but I should really start saving for a house lol!
Not had a proper play with a V8 one but i would imagine them to be pretty equal. Pretty much track spec, Full cage, Buckets, Lexan etc etc. Just need to decide what I'm going to run as my daily driver instead
Sounds brilliant mate looking forward to that! It'll be an animal on track also. I want either a 330d estate or an X5d as a daily if I go down the clubsport route.
