Having difficulties with installing new CAN BUS alarm . My old alarm(Patrol line ) is deed an I’m trying to install Can bus alarm with gps and sms rapport . After completing installation I found that after 20min my key card cannot disarm alarm . System stay armed because CAN BUS after 15-20 min go to sleep . Central locking and dome light do not affect can communications . To wake up can I need to touch Auto button on steering wheel. After 2 sec is again deep sleep. I try to make connection between dome light and Auto button and lost 4 hours and dismiss it at the end . My question is factory alarm use Can bus or not ? If factory alarm use Can bus communication idea is to reprogram UCH and add alarm in configuration and hope that can bus will wake up with unlocking . My car is Meg 225 2005 with Keyless entry.
