Hi guys, as I was on my timing change, I couldn't really get to loose the nuts on the camshaft sprockets and it required a lot and I mean a LOT of force to get them loose. Something must have gone wrong upon loosening them, because as I was retightening them (used a new set of nuts) with torque wrench set to 30nm as it is in the manual, there was no click on the wrench and tightening felt the same with every turn. After that it snapped... Has anyone encountered this issue or am I the only one to feel like an idiot ?
Quite a common issue, heard about it happening on the clio f4r quite often, probably due to previous overtightening. New stud is fairly cheap from Renault.
