   I'm after picking up a spare set of calipers to refurbish.
   
   Am I right in saying that the calipers (front and rear) of all 175 / 225 / 230 / R26's are the same, irrespective of cup pack etc?

   175/225/230/clio197 i believe have all the same front calipers

   The fronts are the same yes, but the rears on earlier Ph1 225's are Lucas calipers and Ph2 225/175/R26 are ATE calipers.

   The 250 are bigger caliper with different mounting points.

   I always thought to do something like this. Let me know when you have yours out of the car and if they are in good shape just looking bad, I may grab them from you.
