Hi everyone - going to be buying a cae shifter soon for the 3rs. I see a lot of cae with surrounds around the base that are either carbon / black Are these commercially available? Or are people merely spraying or covering the surrounds? Many thanks
The Zero Point company sell that surround I think, and CAE too but is an alluminium plate, isn´t it? I´m in the same point but I´ll go to the Cooler Worx one, and surely make a homemade surround. I´ll tell you!!
That’s a good shout. Just had a look and looks like it might well fit. Tempted to order one for £125 and see if it works. Otherwise I might have to cover the std one with 3m carbon or similar Thanks!
