R26 Bumper gap

  1. Since I had my front bumper resprayed it sits considerably lower on one side and is doing my head in. Has anyone found a solution to this? The only thing I can think is to cable tie through the holes under the bonnet and try and pull it up but there must be a less DIY solution surely?

  2. Get some pics up mate and let's have a look.

Sounds like something ain't seated correctly.

  3. Both sides sit badly on mine Shaun... yet to take the bumper off and have a look - but annoying as you say...

If anything that side looks right and the other side looks too tight - you sure it doesn't need clipping down properly on the passenger side somewhere?

  5. Yeah agree with Cayman on this bud. Looks like it's not clipped properly on passenger side somewhere and sitting too tight.
Last pic shows the bumper is in perfect line with the contour of the headlight. If anything the bonnet needs to come down a good 5/10mm so it's inline with the wing corner and bumper.

  6. I'll have a look this afternoon and see if I can adjust anything to get it looking better, thanks for the help guys!

  7. All 4 of my clips were missing under the 1st bit of trim you lift up ! Explains my issue Shaun  Had a bag of new ones lying about - so sorted....

    Get yours sorted ?

  8. There are a few clips missing on the drivers side but I'm not sure if that's the issue. A mate has a few at his workshop so I'll go and borrow some and see if that fixes it, if not we'll have the bumper off next weekend and have a proper look! I ended up checking all of the fluids and taking it out for a nice drive as the sun was out!
