If you think it will be fine thats fine. But it's not just the engine you've got to think of. Anyway not trying to be constantly negative, good luck with the project will keep an eye on the thread.
fyi you can have polycarbs for the front and still have use of the windows. There is a coating that wont scratch

Well this thread hasn't gathered much traction over the past 10 months but now I've bought this one I may get started. This one is no 1150 r26. Being a phase 2 most of the cosmetic work is done. Also being a r26 I already have the gearbox so that's another bonus. My plans are, to paint it in nimbus grey & add all the r26r parts I've accumulated. Lee

I have every part of the interior from #27r sat on top of my office. The only bit I didn't have was a steering wheel but that's sorted now. Lee
It's easier for me as the car is already silver... My hardest decision is red or black wheels. I've got to decide soon as I'm ordering them tomorrow. Lee
Check eBay before ordering. I picked up a brand new boxed set of black wheels before Christmas for £280!!!!
You can still search for completed listings on ebay. Makes interesting viewing when searching what soldand for how much. I use it all the time.

No I'm using the lexan ones but putting a light tint on them. Turbo wise I'm using a 3071 on a 0.63 housing. I've also got a few other bits like larger throttle body ect but ill post pics of that in good time. I'm gonna get the interior & exterior done first before I drop the engine in. Lee
