Has anyone taken there turbo to a specialist to turn it into a hybrid. What sort of price have you been charged for the work
I've been told (albeit by a not very reliable source lol) that it can be cheaper to have my old 250 turbo rebuilt into a hybrid than purchasing one, but ive also asked the question here with no replies up to now. If I get chance I will try and speak to the guy I know and get some more info as I need to catch up with him soon anyway, if I think on I'll post my findings here.
Midland turbos were going to build a 20t hybrid for me for £6-700 from memory but needed a new exhaust housing as mine was cracked (same as most used housings). Exhaust housings are hard to find new so might be an issue.
