Hi all, Just thought I'd share my experience of visiting BTM Performance in Birmingham. I made the journey from Dorset to have a full service and belts/waterpump changed by Fred last weekend, 'cos I've only just bought the car, and wanted to have somebody who knows RenaultSports give it a thorough going over and try to avoid any nasty surprises down the line. Dropped the car with Fred on Friday afternoon so it was cold for him to work on Saturday morning. Have to say I was really impressed with his knowledge of the cars and his attention to detail - for example there were some small bits of wiring that weren't clipped in the right places under the bonnet from previous work elsewhere, but when I returned to pick the car up, the first thing I noticed was that they were back in place properly. Basically, they were things that weren't his problem, but he'd put them right. Despite the odd setback due to previous work on the car elsewhere, it was sorted and ready for me to take home on Saturday evening, and Fred was very patient to talk me through he work he had done plus a few things I would need to do in future. Overall, I'm very impressed with BTM and will definitely visit Fred again. I would wholeheartedly recommend BTM to others, and I'm a right fussy so-and-so! Cheers for now, Dave
Fred is very highly respected on cliosport.net. I know mates that travel hundreds of miles and book a hotel just to have him work on their pride and joy.
