Key card in the Dci has shat itself. Have to enter the key about 20 times which is no fun. (Funny as my RS has no issues and it's the same age). Now I know how to open all the centre fascia up as I have done it to fit an alcantara number (again on the RS), but is it worth me pulling it apart and having a look over the unit? Also I was just thinking about an eBay replacement, anyone have experience? Finally, they are generic aren't they? I'd have thought the reader just acts as a relay to the ecu where the code to match the keyfob is kept? Correct me if i'm wrong. Ta.
