How long is the breakdown cover you get from new with the megane RS? Mine is just over 2yr old. Think it's just a year is it? Only asking as i thinking of arranging breakdown cover.
I always think its an epic waste of money, but then i only do about 10k a year, never needed them in 17 years of driving, and when you think how much i could have paid out over that time, for nothing
Only cover 10k a year max too. Could be right, just a bit paranoid with Renault reliability as it's my first one. Although they do appear to have improved a lot over past few years. Looking into all Renault cars bought after Jan 15 came with 4yrs warranty and 4yrs assistance. Hopefully this is the case.
If you're on the Renault 4+ package, it's 4 years. To be clear - are you talking about breakdown cover as in roadside recovery, or the mechanical warranty they provide?
How would i find out this? Nothing in my service folder. What's the standard assistance you usually get? Yes as in recovery and roadside.
Call the supplying dealer I guess and ask the question. Above you mention you think all cars after Jan 15 have the 4 years assistance. I'm not 100% sure on that; I know they changed the rules on that date as that's when they stopped doing the 4+ package.
