Hello Gents, for few weeks now have hair intermittent warning coming up on the dash. Says Braking System Fault, stop car. Only lasts for few seconds then disappears. Brakes seem fine so I’m guessing is a sensor or something, any ideas? (Also comes on when have stability/traction control switches off)
I would double check your clutch damper isn't leaking brake fluid that has led to the warning on the dash due to fluid level dropping. Common fault.
Anyone know how long the clutch damper delete/replacement pipe job takes by someone who knows what they are doing? As always any feedback greatly received.
Prob between 30 minutes to 45 minutes I fitted mine on my 275 only bit rhat was a pain in the ar@e was putting battery tray back in.
I've literally just had an MOT today and it passed fine. I'm getting the same warning light intermittently though still, had the issue for a while now, never had any issues with the brakes though I've tried to get it fixed. First I was told it was a wire that was touching something and shorting out, had that changed, seemed to work for a while. Went through a large puddle/flooded road and the warning started again. Had the ABS sensor changed. Still doing it. Fluids fine. Ideally I'd rather not have to take it to Renault as that would cost so much. But if needs must I suppose I'll have to if it keeps on. Makes me feel like I should sell her I'd rather not obviously, I love my car so much! But my life she's costly!
