  1. anyone performed the upgrade from 225 to cup servo ?
any difficulties to look out for ?
managed to get a servo and cylinder from a trophy with the aim of improving braking performance, will also change the brake lines for hel braided items whilst im at it then if I can afford it change the fluid for a Dot5.1 and pads to some ferrodo DS2500s
im guessing that this should improve my current pedal feel quite a bit

  2. servo is the same its the master cylinder that different
i was going to fit it when my engine was out but i couldnt get one

  3. Yeah 25mm instead of 23mm on the 225?
    any recommendations for fluid?

  5. I have a 225 cup and ran the ds2500 pads
Rubbish bite and to long a pedal
Changed to ds 1.11 pads and razor sharp with a bit of heat in them

  6. theres a few about now i might do it in the summer

  7. Dot 5.1 is not needed, get high quality dot 4 and they will be same performers. The difference is only in minimal boiling temperature between the two of them and only most rubbish oils are on the minimum. High quality brake oils have the same boiling temperature on dot 4 and dot 5.1

  8. well I might finally get around to sorting this out this weekend if the weather holds up which it is supposed to

  9. Just 2 brake lines to undo then 2 nuts hold the cylinder to the servo
