265 Brake fluid leak

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Nitro94, Apr 23, 2021.

  1. I’ve got a small break fluid leak that I’ve known about for a while now but needs fixing.
It’s coming from the nsf and the fluid is leaking all over my anti roll bar.
I did some reading of other posts and it sounds it’s one of the clutch lines not a brake line. I’ve gone under and done a little exploring and I’m pretty sure it’s the clutch but I have no idea what I’m looking at.
I’ve attached some photos and it appears the leak is coming from the joint above the black circular thing (no idea what it’s called or what it does sorry)
Anyone know what this part is called so I can order it and get it replaced?
    Thanks

  2. It’s the clutch damper, HEL make a replacement line the gets rid of it as they always leak.

  3. Thanks for the reply.
Does deleting the damper affect the clutch much?
