Brake Fluid Change - how much fluid do I need?

  1. Hi All! Looking to do a brake fluid change in the next few weeks or so but I've not done it before. I'm going to be swapping it over to Motul RBF600 and wondering how much I should buy.. some places say 0.5 litres, some say 2 litres? Would anyone be able to clarify?

  2. 2 litres should be fine
1 litre for the car and another litre jfor top up during bleeding of callipper and clutch and some some will be spilt

  3. How do you bleed fluid from clutch? I
    think mine needs doing.

  4. on the pipe going to the slave cylinder near the clutch there will be a plastic nipple that rotate 1/4 of a turn to bleed
get someone to press the clutch when open, then close it and release clutch pedal and repeat until fluid is clear.
pretty much same as brake but with clutch pedal. good luck:coldsweat:

  5. Cheers.
