Anyone installed any brake cooling after installing 1.11's (which are epic btw) I've noticed my brakes are running very hot - nothing is sticking by the way. Thought of taking my fog light blanks out and running ducts through the arches but the washer bottle is in the way. Anyone installed a smaller bottle? Heard the Clio bottle fits, not sure if it's mk2 or mk3 bottle though and then there is the .r bottle but that has no pump for headlight washer which I want to retain. Any ideas or suggestions?
I have the Mk3 so sorry can't help but had the same issue on my car which I resolved by taking off flaps on front of the front wheels underneath. Not sure if your car has these?
Might be worth putting temp strips on your calipers to work out if you actually need to cool them. The pads need to be in a certain temperature window to generate the correct co-efficient of friction.
Or temperature paint on the outer face of the disks (not the pad contact area). https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/brake-disc-temperature-paint-kit-rtpk Should give you some good data to whether the pads are over heating.
