Box info

  1. Is there any differences between the R26 box and a 250 Cup box?

  2. Two completely different boxes, think the 250 is longer.

  3. I have a friend trying to source a R26 box and thought possibly the 250 box was the same.

  4. Longer as in casing dimensions or longer in gear ratios?

Not sure on gear ratios but the PK4 box that the Mk3's use is a fairly big box, hence you cant really fit them to a Clio if doing Megane conversion.

Should fit in a Mk2 Megane though, the DCi uses the same box IIRC

  6. All correct but the PK4 is also fitted to the 2.0 DCI megane 2 so it should fit within R26 engine bay.
However the fit to the F4Q block is a different story on which i cannot comment on as i don't know.

  9. What about the differences in 225 box and R26 box? Is it really the same box but R26 has a diff fitted inside it?

  11. Sorry but i thought you meant 2.0dci Mk3 megane rather than MK2.

Nevermind, we got there in the end...:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

  12. Si.

    Si.

Ph 2 225 (Ph1 box has a deifferent selctor on so not sure if these can be swapped) and R26 boxes are the same just the R26 has the diff. Seen a lot of people put the R26 diff straight into a 225 box with no issues

  13. So a 250 cup (LSD) box would go on a dci 175!?!

    RS 175 Cup Lux
