Just been in the car 1st time boost then something happened Not revving up right and a lot of vibration through the car Not sure weather to drive it or not Any ideas Cherrs
Seems more near the battery side I reckon as it came on boost hard in 2nd it gripped it may of snapped a gearbox mount etc you think
Check the top left engine mount, the bolt could of snapped and the engine will drop slightly, I've had 2 snap
I think your spot on mate must of snapped Like u say I bet it's left the rest in the thread I guess u need to support the engine The banging from start off is because the engine has dropped So drive shafts etc are effected
Yes jack the car up , get a block of wood and ten get another jack to support the weight , it's an easy job to do mate and you can buy just the bolt from Renault
To be honest it's just a standard bolt that you can get from a fasteners store, will cost about £1, from Renault their about £6
It happened today when I had the semi slicks fitted in soft compound Instead of spinning it must of gripped hard and went to the weakest point Any idea on exact bolt size to match 1 up mate
I'm guessing this could have happened me on Saturday. I was pulling off from the lights and there was a loud clunking noise and then some heavy vibration and extra noise. There was not any heavy acceleration from the lights so I'm not sure really hopefully its just the engine mount.
