Morning guys, many one replaced the crappy insulation on a mkII? Mind is basically falling apart and want to change it for something that actually looks nice lol! Anyone replaced theirs?
I just removed mine then cleaned up the underside of the bonnet, let’s the heat out better too I believe.
Yeah I was thinking the same but surely the heat for the paint isn’t good at all? Renault don’t put much paint on the cars as it is lol!
I have no insulation under the bonnet, and have run with, and without the engine cover, and not had any problems.
same as above i have no heat shield under bonnet as well and no paint fade but my question is why do the R26R carbon bonnets fade over time hence that’s why they put that gold wrap underneath. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
