Started on Monday. iPhone 6 connects then the BT on the car disconnects from the phone after about 2 mins and won't re-connect. Pressing the tel button on the stalk or Bluetooth through the settings button on the facia does nothing. Turn off and re-start the car and it connects again for another 2 mins. Repeat. I've reset everything in settings to default but the problem remains extant. Anyone else have this happen on theirs at all. It's been absolutely fine for the past 6 yrs. Bloody thing!
On a previous car where Bluetooth stopped working my phone did a software update and my Bluetooth stopped working (loads of people had the same issue). Worth looking into.
Upadate. Deleted all of the BT phones from the radio sat. Turned BT off on my phone. Re-started the car. Left it 10 mins and I could still access the BT menu and use the stalk fine. Paired my phone again and 2 mins later it's disconnected and I can't access the BT menu or use the phone button on the stalk anymore. I updated my phone last weekend. I suspect that Apple may have some influence in this. Possibly.
If it's only started happening since the iPhone update, then yes it sounds like that's your problem. Have you got another non apple device you can connect to your car, at least this should show what is actually at fault.
Yeh. My boy has a Samsung. Won't be able to do it until next weekend now as I'm about to head off overseas with work. I've literally just upgraded to IOS 10. I'll check it again en route to work shortly. Not holding my breath though.
