Strangely, the drivers door doesn't lock on the single press of the card button when outside (the boot and nearsidelocks fine), however when I double press to deadlock, all doors lock fine but then when I press open on the card, the drivers door stays locked. It seems to work therefore but kind of 'out of sync' I've looked in the manual but can't see any sort of resetting option........am I heading for a visit to the dealers?
Try insert card into key slot, start the car, lock from dash button, and then pull out card; switch off and back away and see if it locks by itself / with single button press
Ahhh, apologies, no tricks then, worth mentioning i had a similar issue and had to have door lock mechanism replaced eventually;
Update.........renault dealer having charged firstly a diagnostic fee of £46 .......have said that it will cost £350 (inc the 46) in total to replace lock and the door membrane..."..........ouch!
