Blackburn motorpark

  1. Had my R26 booked in for both windows and I asked them to replace the drivers door lock button. They said no problem, we will order the parts, bring it in.

A week later I took a day of work, dropped it off and got the train home. They called later to say they didn't have the parts to fix any of the 3 faults it had.

Picked it up later to find it now had 3 new faults - optical sensor on drivers handle not working, door speaker not working & rattle from passenger door.

Booked back in a week and half later when they had the parts in stock. They called later to say they didn't have the correct part to fix the passenger window.

Picked it up and paid nearly £300 only to find the speaker isn't working despite me specifically asking that they make sure that was done. Few hours later I noticed they have put 2 small dents in the drivers sill that deffo weren't there before.

Had to have some of the loom replaced in the A pillar due to corrosion too. Car is barely 5 years old - seriously not impressed with Renault build quality or Blackburn Motorpark.

  2. Did you complain?

  3. I have to Ren UK yes. The dealer is blaming the lack of parts on Ren UK however, so what to do?

Not spoken to anybody obout the sill damage but I'm fuming. Can't prove it was them so if they don't accept responsibility, what can I do?

  4. Done the right thing going straight to Renault Uk. It's utterly pointless complaining to the dealer.

I went once to Blackburn Renault when it was urgent. And this was only for a part.

    NEVER AGAIN!

I feel sorry for you and anyone else who have to put up with them.

  6. Complete muppets these lot! I took my clio cup in to have the bonnet catch replaced ( recall item ) left it with them, came back to pick it up and it's got 2 dents on the bonnet, right above the catch mechanism, they denied causing any damage, I kicked off rang Renault uk, who where brilliant, the dickheads at the motorpark, sent a dent removal man round, who fixed the dents in one minute, bunch of tossers!

    do not use em anyone!

  7. Well the 2 dents they put in my R26, they wouldn't take responsibility for at all. I went through Ren customer services and they could do nothing.

They eventually ordered the correct part for the passenger window, but I wouldn't take the car back to them to fit it.

Since then I've bought 2 new Renaults, but not with Blackburn Motor Park...

  8. When I went to collect the car from having the bonnet catch replaced I noticed the dents as I was walking up to the car, so turned straight around and went into the showroom and kicked off immediately, so maybe this helped my case, as I didn't go home then notice them like yourself, couldn't believe the technician who did the work apparently said they where already there lmfao!

renualt uk did the job I must admit. But never again will I go to these idiots!

  9. Had this with one of my cars a few years ago, and since then I always get receptionist to walk round the car before I leave it to note the condition, only takes 2 minutes and saves a lot of potential hassle.

  10. Ha this is exactly what I do now, did it with the shitroen Picasso recently just to be on the safe side, I'll be taking the megane to specialists for work, so hopefully they actually give a shit about customers cars.
