Black 350z detail

    Well after having way too much fun lately messing around with Ferrari's with tvrman including doing some miles in an ff yesterday its back down to earth with this 350z.

    Worthy of note is the owner really looks after this but the damage was from a previous owner sadly.

    We had discussed a list of things to look at and take care of, so onto the arrival pictures:

    As you can see the sun was out so it was washed then quickly pulled into the garage to be dried off and clayed:

    As you can see the readings were quite low and were dangerously low in places, as you can see the previous owner clearly liked to rub one out :smile:

    Lots of marks around the car so it was onto the test spot, this was done carefully so not to remove lots of clear but still remove a good amount of marking:

    So with that settled it was onto the rest of the car:

    With the correction stage finished I put a gloss stage in and then wiped down:

    Then onto the dentman:

    With the dents taken care of I then applied gtechniq C1:

    Whilst this was given time too cure I started on the arches,wheels and calipers:

    Glass coated:

    Exhausts done:

    Onto the engine bay:

    Then inside all cleaned and protected:

  9. Great work as always Ed, black looks so good when it is freshly detailed :cool:

    I could never have another black car though, I'd end up in a mental hospital with my OCD these days :rolleyes::wink:
