   Does anyone know the internal bore size of the standard Megane 3 250 gear knob?
   
   I'm looking to get a new gear knob, but need to know the if it will fit first and I can't seem to my gear knob off.
   
   The gear knob I'm looking at has an 14mm internal bore size.

   Pull the knob as hard as you can until it comes off.

   Just the gear knob itself?
   
   Is the knob and the part underneath, that you lift up to put the car into reverse connected at all?
