Is it just me or does anyone else get incredibly annoyed when someone's telling you some utter crap about how his mates had his car remapped to one trillion horsepower and all he did was fit an exhaust. For example someone's just been telling me about how his friend has a 250cup running 375bhp after a remap and exhaust. But it can handle the power because he's had a new clutch. //rant over.
bless him, i just laugh when i hear crap like that, but it makes em feel a bit better about themselves
It's a known Fact that an upgraded clutch will irradicate the need for bigger injectors, bigger turbo, upgraded mass airflow and higher flow fuel pumps to name a few things lol people tend to chat a lot of crap, I know of people just turning up boost without checking det nock and afr's
The reputation ( or lack of ) the places that often dyno them always makes me question whats really going on.
A mate of mine is still stupidly wrong when it comes to things like this. Fitting a bigger turbo on a golf 1.8T can achieve 450bhp, without mapping and other suited mods.
There's an intercooler on eBay at the moment that is far superior to K-tec and airtec coolers. It will easily handle 450 bhp and will give you 15bhp without exhaust or other mods......
And 1 has been bought....... Watch that right foot now lad, you'll have 3 points through the door before you know it...
Sadly with anything in life a lot of people have no idea!!! Of course you just gotta nod and grin then walk away knowing they're talking sh1te!!! Haha The one bit of crap that gets me in the whole car scene is the whole FWD/RWD thing. So many people think they're Clarkson and that RWD is the only type of car to drive. He drives Merc SLRs and Ferrari 458s not BMW 318s!! RWD does not make a default drift king! Haha
i had a look through the M5 forum on PH yesterday the BS on there knows no limits, its comical the gains those fellas are claiming.
