A few threads on this previously mate, plenty of good advice from people on here. Personally, I use Millers Nanodrive in my 250 http://www.millersoils.co.uk/nanodrive.asp I spoke with Opie Oils for advice and if your car is still under warranty, then you should use a Renault 'RN0710' approved oil.http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-898-rn0710-oil.aspx If I wanted the very best for it, I was recommended to go with a 5w-40 ester based oil http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx Out of those, the ester ones are Fuchs Titan Pro s, Millers Nanodrive CFS NT, Moyul 300V and Gulf Competition. As mine is out of warranty, I decided to go with the Millers Nanodrive, a bit more expensive, but some excellent reviews of it if you do a search
Why not just go for the standard Renault oil, you can pick up from Wolverhampton Renault for £30 inc oil filter, washer and sump plug and just do regular changes. That's what I'll be doing every 3/4k
I use the fushs Titan pro s in my 250 5w40 as its fair priced at my local motor factors I am also using non genuine filters but I change fluids more often than normal.
I get it via a trade account £46 not a great saving but i rate it used it in scooby and focus rs comes out quite clean after some hot use so I trust it. All the quality oils are expensive. Even the average oil like Castrol is over £30 at some retailers
Alright mate, I bought my megane 250 in feb thinking the warranty was out in a couple of months only to find that after 2012 they all come with a 4 year warranty and most likely 4+ service package. I spoke to Rsport and they checked it on their system to confirm so I'd advise the same, it'll defo have a 4 year warranty anyway
Yeah take mine for example, all the dealer does in punch in your reg to validate it and the mileage so they know whats due and it all gets billed to renault Even if it only applied to the first owner not sure how would renault know it has a new owner?
