So my 265 cup has had this problem twice now. Cylinder cuts out. Red stop light and orange spanner light. "Check ESC" messages and "engine failure hazard" message on the right display. I've taken it to Bristol Street motors in derby and they said first time that when the alternator was changed the fault codes weren't cleared. Now it's happened again and the fault codes have disappeared by a simple turn it off and on again. Cars booked into the garage in 3 weeks time to be looked at unless it breaks down between now and then.
