I was there in a blue M5. My experience of driving an M5 round the track has led me to the conclusion that my wife urgently needs a new car and an RS 250 is the perfect daily runaround for her.
Was it an F10 M5? I think I passed you, I could see that the enormous weight of it was dragging you wide everywhere, lol, it was quick in a straight line though!! Wife defo' needs a Megane..... ;-)
Yeah, that was me. Starship Enterprise down the straights, QEII round the bends. I couldn't really open up on the back straight without passing 6 cars I'd have to let past me again in the twists. But the wide running was more down to the brakes than the weight, you could feel them fading, it was a bit frightening. New pads are on order, we'll see. In the meantime I'm looking for my wife's early xmas present.
