BCBR SUSPENSION SET UP

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by GeorgeL, Jul 7, 2022.

  1. Hey guys!!! I'm an owner of RS265 all the way from Shanghai, China and it's my very first time here. Nice to meet you all!!!! Just got a question related to BCBR suspension. If any of you are currently using BCBR, could you please give me some advice on the set up of damping for both the front and the rear axle? Also, what kind of body height do you adjust?

    Cheers

  2. Hi and welcome

What are your intentions for the car ??? road, track or both ???
what spring rates do you have ???
Not sure what the ride height dimensions are for the Mk3, the R26 is 550mm front and 560mm rear, top of the wheel arch to the ground, can't be that far off with those figures.

I would say though you need to have at least 3 inch free lift, it makes the ride on roads a lot nicer.

  3. Hi, I would mostly drive it on the road. I actually don't know what the spring rates of my suspension are. I didn't find it on the surface of the package. At the moment, there is a 4.5cm free lift on the front axle and the rear is about 3.5cm.
