225 Ball Joint replacement

Hey guys, just had the car put through its MOT and it failed on the driver side ball joint. Where is the best place to get one from? been told you can't buy the ball joint itself because of the setup on the Meg so you have to buy the whole unit. Anywhere I've tried it's expensive, cheapest I've found so far is £110 and that's from a company in Poland. Renault are mega expensive and quoted the garage a lot more. (The joys of owning a Meg eh)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Aye a mate of mine is a mechanic anyway so he's got the tool to get it done, just been a pain in the arse trying to find out. Thanks for your help mate.
