I don't know if anyone could give me any advice on this but I've noticed for a long while now I've got some slack somewhere in either the transmission, driveshafts or engine on my r26. It's noticeable when on and off the throttle in lower gears, there is a bit of slack that is being taken up somewhere. And it feels horrible. I have recently replaced my clutch and dmf, aswell as the two drivers side engine mounts. And it's still there. Also sometimes when you hit the biting point on the clutch when pulling away in first there is a fairly harsh thud where this slack is being taken up. It's driving me mad literally. I feel like I'm nursing it every time I change gear or pull away. Anyone experienced this or got any ideas where to start?
I don't suppose it would hurt to change that and the dog bone. The drivers side mounts were shot so maybe they are too. I gotta fit a new exhaust so I'll take a look at them when I get under it.
Time for some vibratech lolz my car felt the same before I fitted vibratech now the car just vibrates at 2500rpm when I lift off throttle
Mate, just fitted new top and gearbox mounts with powerflex inserts and got the same result... vibrate a lot @2500rpm when i lift off throttle. Did you sort it out? Found why?
