Was big into my RS's a few years back culminating in a GW 2008 R26 Lux. I owned this for 4 years and looking back sold it about 6 years ago & they seem to be worth pretty much the same. After a 2010 330i ( last of the naturally aspirated straight six BMW's) and an 2013 E92 M3 ( Last of the Naturally aspirated V8's) I am back. Well what to follow a 420 bhp V8 at 8300 rpm? A Megane of course. Found the Lowest Mileage, Highest Spec, Newest Cup-S I could find then pretty much swapped my M3 for it. Its good to be back!
I feel like I am revving the Engine loads as used to the higher red line. Missing the Noise big time. Akra seems very quiet. The M3 Engine was a masterpiece. Liking not being on the hunt for a petrol station after 200 miles on a good day. Ride not so good ( M3 was on 18's). Cabin feels much more special with Recaro's & Alcantara wheel. Coming from 330i E91 to E92 M3 it just felt the same. Renault control not so good as I-Drive. M3 blended in as was Space Grey on Grey 18's. Whereas yellow Cup-S stands out & turns heads. Pulled up the other day and some chap literally looked over... stopped in there tracks & stared.... then asked if he could take a photo.
