Flipping rear box rubber mount broken. Exhaust is now resting on the rear valance. Ill try kwik fit in the am I think, hopefully they will have a rubber mount bracket. I hope it's just not a Renault only hanger/mount.
I will tie it up in yes, it's got a bucket under it propping atm. Dealer it is tomorrow then, thanks chaps :0)
I really do need to get a new set of these actually, even though there is nothing wrong with mine I've not long had the lower bumper painted due to it rubbing at some point and don't fancy having it do it again!
Ok, got the part today from Renault Manchester. Fitted this evening, seems ok although slightly different then the original. The new one seems to just hang from the rubber after the top bolt and the 2 in the exhaust were tightened up. There are 2 side straps that catch the weight when pulled down. The old one had a separate bracket and a different side strap as I can make out. I will keep an eye on it........
Does anyone have a quick idiots guide as to where these are? My backbox is touching and starting to damage my bumper and I can't get to a garage for a bit.
ones on the right hand tailpipe the other is on the box on the left.it will make sence when you're under the car i promise!
This happened me last week. Took to a local performance exhaust centre and the made me up 3 brand new mounts that take any rubber. Solid as a rock now!
