I thought a few of you may be interested in my little ax I've recently restored, It came to me in reasonable nick and sort of running but it didn't take me long to rip it apart to give her the love and attention she deserved Here's a few pics to give you an idea I'll get some more over the next few days Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bet you cringed when I didn't know how to use the choke properly [emoji23] This thing needs to enter concours events, it's absolutely flawless inside and out.
It was funny but not many people under 35 have even heard of a manual choke, After speaking today I think I'm going to aim higher with the showing of the ax, I just saw it as a "clean and tidy car" Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Wow that takes me back some years! I can remember my grandad bought one of these in black. Nice little car but really uncomfortable back seats. Are those compomotive MO wheels and 3 stud fitment. Lol
Love it!! Can still remember the black/grey striped interior with red piping!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm guessing it's still got the original engine with all this talk of chokes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That bring back memories. The first car I paid for was a J reg white AX GT Sportif. Quite liked it. Is the roof spoiler going back on?
My 1988 fiesta 1.1 had a manual choke was great the choke was always fully out haha I believed at the time it gave me about 50bhp more and used to fly around the dales at the time Was even better trying to get into it in winter the doors used to freeze up and couldn't get in
Yeah the original 80k engine and box have been rebuilt and re fitted Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Spoiler is now fitted back on It took me 3 weeks to find a pair of original clips to put it back on [emoji38] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
