Aux cable

Very easymate. Can get a cable of eBay. It comes with pins to take the radio out and then you just plug it in. There is a thread on here about it somewhere.

Need to switch aux channel on via the stereo option menu.

this is the linked to the cable- fitting it is easy, the pins go in radio comes out and you just plug it in the back. it doesntt charge the ipod tho nor can you change tracks from the wheel controls

Thats just an aux cable tho You can get a proper iPod connector to be able to do that but it's something like £130. I just chose to spend a tenner and reach out every now and then .

 

So does this plug in where the 6 cd changer plugs?

 

I have the ipod connecter but also want to be able to plug in my phone.

Is it possible to get a splitter (at the stereo end?)

Right question! My cable came today, ive been at work but just had a quick look when i came in, do i disconnect the yellow or blue cable to change it from my cd changer?

 

I've only got the standard CD player but it just plugs in the back. May need to cut a hole in the blanking plate below for the wire to com through.
