  1. Can anybody let me know what to check first? Dash is lit with all of the warning lights shortly after setting off. Car is a 225... Cheers

I now have the same problem
    Help needed please.
All i did was put in powerflex bushes

  3. Check the sonsros are plugged in properly, also take them out and give them a little clean.

    They're behind the front hubs.

i take it you've no ABS too ?

No the ABS is still working
That has been tested and works okay though it does pull to the left a bit

  5. Its a speed sensor, or your track rod ends.

    okay Dan
give me the reason for track rod ends ???
Is the speed sensors in the rear hubs ???, if so i have already cleaned them

  7. Speed sensor is on the front at least thats what the garage said. Does your steering feel loose or wobble?

it only had an MOT less than 150 miles ago, so i dont think it is the track rod ends.
The one thing i have noticed is when it goes, (the asr light comes on) the car jumps to the left violently when on full power and pulls to the right when you hit the brakes,
Is the fluid level warning part of the asr/esp system ???

  9. Thanks Mark I will have a look behind the hubs....

  10. Ps on mine every time I set off and brake, the front left gets abs judder, then I get the dash warning lights.

I have sorted this now, believe it or not it was the tracking, i fitted the new adjustable bushes in the track control arms and the drivers side had turned under acceleration and braking, i didn't believe either, creamed up the bolt after adjusting it to match the near side.

The esr warning was because the abs/esp computer picked up a discrepancy between the wheel speeds and the position of the steering wheel in a straight line, i had changed the track rod and track rod end as i was informed they are a common problem on the Megane, but the ones i took off were in very good condition.

Also fitted my new NS-2r's ready for Oulton Park, had to take it out and try them and also try to make sure the esr light didn't come back on again, happy now and can't wait for Tuesday

  12. Sounds like the hubs check them for play?
